    Update record faulty

How can I tell when / if the May update is installed? Will the change be visible and obvious? I ask because I have just had an update which took a long time, much longer than usual, but the Update History is blank (I have had that problem before) so I cannot check. By opening the page for removing updates I can see that it does not record an installed update for today, though it took about 2 hours. Clearly my update record is faulty.

If you received a feature update to build 2004 and you were previously running build 1909, you would have had to choose to accept that.

Thanks. As expected the version is 19809, so I still have the May Update joys to come. Although Update History still does not list the update installed today, a third-party cleaning app does list it, as 'Windows Update' and a Restore Point was created for it. Despite the modest specs of my Tablet PC I don't often have problems with updates, even big feature ones. though I have lost my webcams, I think with last year's main update, which no one has been able to find a way to bring back.

You can compare with the list shown in Control Panel, Programs and Features.

    Nothing Listed in Update History

    & from #9

    No update history
    note #14

    Missing Information.
