Windows 10 v. 1909 (18363.900)...
One of my system had downloaded the W10 2004 feature update, circled in red, to the folder below:
Applying the update had been delayed for a week.
To my recollection, the content of the download folder can be deleted, but don't recall the exact procedure.
Can someone give me a quick summary of the procedure and/or link to the tutorial on the subject?

first step is to go to settings..system..storage..and temp, then delete windows update files.
after that you can manually delete any remaining folder. I checked mine and after doing the
first step it is already empty.

Took me a while to follow your steps; mainly because I very seldom use the W10 setting panel.
Anyway, the 9.3GB feature update does not show up:
The 62MB isn't that much, nor would it remove the updates.
Isn't the process along the line of disable windows update, delete the content of the download folder in the OP and enable Windows update?
The other remaining solutions are :
1- Run cleanmgr.exe
2- dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore
dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
I am sorry But I didn't realize that you did not updated your windows!
But I am afraid windows will not remove anything before downloaded update files are actually applied!

If you like you can get wild and go the wild way :)
1. Open File Explorer.
2. Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, and delete all contents.
3. Open CMD, and type in net stop wuauserv.
4. Now type in net start wuauserv.
Already gone wild and just deleted all of the files in the download folder in the OP. Doing so required admin rights, but the folder is empty now. Since the deleted files are not moved to the recycling bin, they are off from my system...
Having a daily image backup helps going wild, but I still tend to be cautious. Except when not and a week later, I forget what I changed...
Hi there, I am really keen to disable the Windows 10 updates.
Today's updates that I am being forced and threatened to install are to improve Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Office. I use neither of these.
The previous update was to improve the Japanese font. I do not type or speak Japanese.
This is on Windows 10.
I also have a Windows Vista machine and I disabled the updates 12 years ago. It functions very well and effectively, although Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are now forcing updates and unfortunately these are not permitted on Vista.
I have a saying for this - "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
Therefore I would prefer not to have Windows 10 updates (or crapdates as I often call them lol!)
