Error 0x800f081f in Windows Update with KB4560960

Hi, I'm trying to install latest updates to one of my laptops and I keep gettings this error. For what I've read online it may have something to do with NET Framework 3.5. I tried disabling/enabling it on Windows Features with no luck. I saw these instructions:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...81f-0x800f0907

But I can't follow all of them since I have Windows 10 Home (1903) and I can't access the group policy editor.

    Any help?

    Thanks.

    EDIT:

Also, if I try to install the update by the standalone package, it gives me error 8007000d. Any hints?

Beware of printer issues with this - quite a number of reports:
    KB4560960 CU Win 10 v1903 build 18362.900 and v1909 build 18363.900

.NET framework- if relevant, see #8
Net 3.5 framework, cannot install 0x800F081F.

Possibly triggered for a few by using means to remove Edge:
    KB4507453 failed with error 0x800f081f

That error number has been fixed for some with an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data.
Tutorial available- you'll need a 1909 iso or bootable disk: run setup.exe after logging in.

So the only solution to that error is an inplace upgrade?? How did it happen on the first place?

Thank you so much for your reply.

How did it happen on the first place?
Sadly my crystal ball is down for scheduled maintenance. Clearly it does happen- you only need to search for the error number.

Feel free to research further.. there are several similar reports of that error number related to recent updates.

I've given you what I can find easily- you may be luckier.

I did research and found what I posted on the first message. But it involves the usage of group policy editor, which Home editions do not have. That's why I asked here. I guess I'll have to keep searching on my own.

I didn't see anything there mentioning the GP editor or being particularly helpful.
I gave you a link covering .NET framework addressing your concern about not having Pro, but rather doubt .NET is relevant.

    You can of course try
Reset Windows Update in Windows 10

    It's here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...81f-0x800f0907

Windows 10 section, error code section.

I saw that and then asked here on how to do it without group policy editor. Reset and upgrade are fine options, but I would like to know if there are some alternatives.
