Did they tell you in Notifications what they removed or did you scan the feature list to see if something obvious was changed, like SMB1 being disable?

I suspect that it's more to do with Optional features in Settings. > Apps and features > Optional features. I suspect @nIGHTmAYOR may have added a few not included by default, and may need to add them back again after the update to 2004. I've not seen that message on any of my updates, but then I hadn't added any of the non-default optional feature available there.

For 2004 a lot more built-in features are now in that optional section. To IE11 and Media Player which had always been there, has been added Notepad, Wordpad, Paint amongst others. This means they can be updated more often and without waiting for the next Windows Feature update. It all seems to be tied in with the 'Windows Feature Experience Pack' for 2004 which seems to shift responsibility for updating them from Windows Update to the Store.

What is the Windows 10 Windows Feature Experience Pack?

Seemes to happen rarely, but there have been a few reports of one on those newly optional feature going missing after the update to 2004, Notepad for example. But it can easily restored by turning it back on in Optional features.
