Does update pause affect the virus updates, and which pause to use?

Because of COVID-2004, I must pause updates. Does this also pause the virus updates? Or, is there a pick and choose possibility? Also, the choices of pause are presented a typical Microsoft fashion.
* There is a one click 7 day pause.

Then there are three more choices are available in the Advanced window.
* There is a Max 35 day pause
* There are Feature and Quality updates, with up to a 365 day delay?
While the words "Feature" and "Quality" are proper English words, in Microsoft's context, it's unknown which includes the virus updates.

If you're referring to Windows Defender, no effect.

Similarly, if you're referring a a 3rd party AV, no effect.
