Error 0x800f0982 - 2020-05 Cumulative Update won't install

    Error 0x800f0982 - 2020-05 Cumulative Update won't install

    As you can see via this screenshots, the latest update for my system hits 100%, but then just throws an error, specifically 0x800f0982.

    I've restarted my PC multiples times and get the same result. I've also run the Windows Update troubleshooter, and run SC config trustedinstaller start=auto.

    Any idea what's going on? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

    In case you prefer upgrading the update may not matter. Consider upgrading: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10
