Cannot Uninstall Latest Quality Update (KB4556799)

Running Win 10 Home, Version 1909 on Acer Aspire A515-43

When I go to Settings>Update History>Select Update I can see and highlight the update but there is no uninstall
    option!
So I start in advanced startup mode - I can select the Uninstall latest Quality update option and get the message
"Sorry, we ran into a problem and cannot uninstall the latest quality update" message

How can I uninstall the update (and more important, why can't I uninstall using routine methods)
    TIA

Have you run DISM component cleanup/cleanup image lately, or used a cleaner that cleans up Windows update(like windows own disk clean-up)?
Those get rid of the install fies, which means no uninstall files too.
You probably need to get the update from Microsoft update catalog reinstall it, then uninstall.

You can find links to the update at the bottom of the first post: KB4556799 CU Win 10 v1903 build 18362.836 and v1909 build 18363.836

You could perform the following initially . . .

[1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
[2] Goto the heading Disk Cleanup [ Advanced Mode ] . . . and download the .bat file.
    [3] Run Option [2].

    I hope this helps!

Thanks for the .bat file! I have never used a batch file to uninstall a specific update before. If I replace the KB number with another KB number in both places on the script, could I theoretically do this with any stuck Windows Update?

Here are the Uninstall_KB4556799.bat batch file contents -

    Code:
    @echo off
Title Uninstall Windows Update [ KB Number ] - Written by Paul Black.
     Set "KB=KB4556799"
     echo.
     echo Uninstalling Windows Update %KB% . . .
     wusa /uninstall /KB:4556799 /quiet /norestart /n /o
echo Windows Update %KB% has been uninstalled successfully!
    echo.
echo REBOOT NOW for the pending actions to be implemented . . .
     echo.
echo ^< Press ANY key to REBOOT NOW ^> & Pause> NUL
     shutdown /r /t 0
     Exit

Given the OP's symptoms, what reason is there to think that running wusa can achieve anything?

In what way is running disk cleanup helping to remedy the OP's problem?

Disk cleanup might well be the cause of the problem.
