    I'll be delaying feature updates

So the new May 2020 update was released. And I already have some plans related to it.

Since I'm on 1909, I won't have the update installed automatically until May 2021 (cool), but I'll still be delaying it just in case.

Around the end of June/beginning of July, I'll be delaying it for around 8 months just so that everything is fine when I update.

WU paused until 10/18/2020 on my system, just to be safe. I’ll keep watching the effects of v.2004 to make sure it isn’t forced on my system like v.1909 was, which failed twice. I know MS said they wouldn’t do that again, but.......

I'll still be delaying. Mostly because there may be bugs associated with my specs as well.

Not trying to persuade you not to.. perhaps the opposite as you can see from that there are outstanding issues.

Plus that's where you can see how they are progressed.

Me too. I'm staying with 1809.
Too many reports of problems with 1903 that would affect me badly.

1903 has all along been working perfectly on my junk PC.

Yesterday, WU started displaying the message that v.2004 is available, not for my system and that it will be updated when my system is supported. WU is still paused until 10/18/2020 on this system.

Go directly to 1909. Very stable. Many fixes and features.
    Make a complete backup first.

1909 is fine on all my PCs including one from 2006. I'm avoiding 2004 for a while due to many problems reports here. This is yet another bug prone poorly tested update from MS.
