    Dell website has always given me windows 10 for optiplex but not today


    I have a few Dell optiplex around and I have always installed windows 10 from dell on them but now today I go to the dell website and they are offering the install that came with the machine. ? Huh what why is it offering windows 8 for the optiplex now ? can I brows for a windows 10 ISO in some way can or can I just install with a windows 10 istall usb and will it see the product key on the dell motherboard ? maybe I will use the install media for the last dell optiplex I installed ? its just the other day I Activated a dell optiplex that had win7 key on the case and all was well.
    Do we now have to pay to upgrade the dell optiplex to windows 10 ?

    Its free and if you try windows up date your should get it or goto the media creation tool and hit upgrade

    maybe I have to install win 8 grab the serial product key and use that to install 10 ?
