    Attention needed - Windows Update

I just noticed this warning earlier this week and can't seem to get rid of it even though there are no pending or delayed updates. Never had this issue before were the warning persisted.

Windows Update shows I'm up to date...

Yes, I'm aware of the "Some settings are managed by your organization" notice. That's because I've set a group policy to "Exclude drivers from Windows quality updates" ...

something I've been doing for years in preventing Windows from updating my GPU drivers. I get the drivers direct from the vendor and update myself.

Again, this attention warning has never stuck like this so I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

    Thanks.

Anyway the issue is gone now, so....

I had to restart the system cause I did something that crashed Outlook (O-365). When I logged back in I found the problem was gone when I went to answer your question... "where was that posted"

I never got anything about snipping tool. Anyway you're on a local account so I can't help there.

Strangely the notice has returned. And again, without any pending or optional updates showing

    Just flat out strange.

I thought I was the only one. I had been getting that for months on 1909, but didn't care too much to do anything about it. Ironically, it went away after the cumulative update last week. Just in time for me to do my 2004 Feature Update. Hasn't happened yet on 2004, but still early. I use Microsoft Account as login.

Well here's the weird thing.... it's gone again. Why/how I've no idea. I've not even updated to 2004.

Have you got 'Notifications' switched on? I have Notifications turned off and I do not see anything above the "Find a setting" text box. I am using a Local account but 'Notifications' are Notifications so, if it is switched on you will get them.

Maybe a difference in Pro vs Home versions?

    Just a thought.
