    Windows Update - Attention Needed

If I open settings, it says "Attention Needed" under windows update, but if I click on it, it says that it is up to date. What could be causing this, and how can I fix it? The version number is 1909.

Did you check Windows is activated? - Start, Settings, Update & Security, Activation.

    Is a restart pending?

Windows is activated, and a restart is not pending.

Than without seeing the computer, or at the very least a screen shot, I've no idea what the issue is.

One last shot, Windows will warn there hasn't been any virus scans done in a while. Check that.

It's not that. What do you need a screenshot of?

Back in 18999 the advice was to ignore it: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...e046d9e?auth=1

Might be the best answer here as well, or you could try running these 3 commands in sequence up to 3 times tuntil thery run error free:

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    SFC /scannow

Okay, I just tried running them, however the first one seems to be stuck, at 10%.

Edit: it appears to be making progress again now.

    - - - Updated - - -

I ran them all, in order, 3 times, and the last one said that it repaired some corrupted files, however the "attention needed" message still displays in settings.
