Yeah. I’ve become rather busy “staying at home” and just don’t want to deal with Windows right now. Just don’t want to spend time fixing something that might get broken. “Oh yee of little faith”
thumbs up on that , only cumulative updates broke 1909 for me , so i was hoping to use 2004 as a shock therapy to my laptop .

The most plausible current rumour is 28 May....

I hear OEMs now are set to get the code May 5; developers on May 12; and general availability is slated for May 28. Again, Microsoft has not announced this officially and these dates may change yet again.
...and so far MS seem to be following that timetable.

just don't use the MS defrag tool (dfrgui.exe) in 2004 - that one does not work correctly in 20H1/2004 and does not remember the "last run" status after a reboot.

MS defrag works ok with 1909, 1903 & earlier - just currently not with 2004

so we all have to wait sometime after Memorial Day (between May 26 to 28) to see if some people will be offered the 20H1/2004 update

it's already gone to release preview 19041.208, so won't be long.
MSDN users have recently gotten the 2004 ISOs with 19041.208 - those ISOs won't be available to the general public until near end of May

those waiting for 2004 to appear on WU will get the newer 19041.264 build - again that could happen around the last week of May
