for windows 10, how do i turn off all updates?

    windows 10 1903 dec 2019. 18362.535 (pro)
hi, i have a problem I use register files with links below. I also turn off the following from the services. I also choose "do not execute action" in the recovery options. but still, after a while, they open automatically. especially the orcherstrator service and windows update act on their own. Although I disable it, it returns to auto start.
I never, ever want them to open up on their own. If you have a missing register file, you can suggest or waiting for your help. thanks

If you want to disable WU reliably and have the ability to manually scan for updates, don't bother reinventing the wheel.

Free 3rd party utilties have been available for a long times and are very capable, and are often mentioned here.

    e.g.
Sledgehammer, Windows Update Minitool or Option 7 here:
Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10

    More- you have Pro, so:
    - you can set updates to Notify in group policy- so you have to approve them
    - you can defer feature updates (upgrades) fo rup to 365 days

Stop the Windows Update and the UpdateOrchestrator services. Then go to Scheduled Tasks and disable anything under Microsoft->Windows->Windows Update and UpdateOrchestrator. Also you can run O&O Windows 10 Shutup and disable anything under Windows Updates to make sure. If you only need to disable a specific update (such as a driver update or an incompatible hotfix) you can also use the Windows Update Show/Hide tool to hide (disable) the update.
