I'm on 1909 right now. Assuming Microsoft doesn't change their support policies (again...), I have no intention of installing any feature updates until 2109, and even then not until Spring 2022 when 1909 support expires.

Hi, you can of course defer feature upgrades for up to 365 days.
To block Windows Updates and take control, you can use one of the free 3rd party programs that have been around for some years.

and one described under Option 7 of the tutorial on disabling automatic updates.
These have been repeatedly mentioned here, and include features like manual scans for updates with checkbox selection, hiding updates etc.
