I have a Dell 7710 with Win 10 Pro 1909 18363.657.
for the last few weeks the cumulative updates fail with the error 0x800f0922. Latest one was KB4541335.
Looking at the history KB440673 Failed on 3/12 (2) and KB4541335 Failed on 3/29.
I ran CHKDSK and sfc /scannow and found no errors.
I searched the web and cannot find a solution.
Any ideas?

and post a screenshot of your partitions using a 3rd party partition manager. Is your Recovery partition >500Mb?

I tried putting the App Readiness Service in automatic (it was manual) and that did not solve it.

Try this first, then retry the update:
Reset Windows Update in Windows 10
If still no luck then
as the link I posted indicated in my first post, try expanding that to, say, 600Mb.It is 450MB.
You will need to use a 3rd party partition manager to achieve that.
Before doing so, and as you hopefully are doing already, as a precaution make sure you have a current disk image of all Windows partitions (e.g. Macrium Reflect -free/paid).

Any good partition manager will do. e.g. Minitool partition wizard, Aomei Partiiton Assistant....
Try resetting Windows Update first and see if any change. Safer and easy to try.
Resetting windows update did not work. I tried it twice.
For now I paused updates. May try again at the end of the week.
could it just be compatibility issues with the specific update that will eventually be fixed?

Please try these commands from an admin command prompt:
reagentc /info
reagentc /enable
and report any anomalies.
Also check you can boot to a command prompt or to Safe mode e.g. via SHIFT + left click Restart and work through the prompts - this checks the Recovery partition is usable.
