KB4541329 stuck and killing my old rig

    Greetings guys,

I come to you a bit desperate.
I have KB4541329 stuck and my rig is in limbo at the moment. Its not installing at all even though trying really hard and when trying hard, its killing my CPU.
I cannot seem to stop it from wanting to install.
At the end of the day, I would like to be able to get back my laptop as it was before whether or not this update is being installed or not.
Sometimes it downloads up to 100% but never install.
    Any help is much appreciated.

    All the best

    Hi zongo

You didn't say what edition of Windows 10 you are using. Any chance it is Pro?

We have this tutorial to "Hide" an update.

Thanks for the reply and your time.
I have finally successfully resolved the problem.
I found a couple of commands here --> How to fix Windows Update problems on Windows 10 | Windows Central
    Code:
    dism /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Update is now installed. I restarted my rig and it seems to alright. Fingers crossed as Windows these days is pretty unstable.

    Cool.

If you are not Imaging your system I would recommend you investigate immediately. Lots of tools out there, this one is free.

Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

I keep multiple versions, sort of like a time machine.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news zongo but it seems that the KB4541329 update is causing some printing issues for some other people (seems this update has a bad WINSPOOL.DRV driver):

What I see in the listed documents is the referenced Version number 1607 does not indicate the latest, would wonder if Upgrading the computers involved would solve the issue.
