Can't install or hide update  

I get "KB4535996 Error 0x800f081f" after several tries. I tried to hide it with wushowhide.cab but it does not find the update. How do I get this thing removed from showing in Windows Update?

Tried resetting update, but got a bunch of "Access denied" and some of the files don't exist; a note said to unblock the .bat file, but there wasn't an "Unblock" in properties. At any rate, nothing worked.

My error, I didn't "Run as Administrator" before, but here are the results when I did:

Nope, same problem. From MS:
February 27, 2020—KB4535996 (OS Builds 18362.693 and 18363.693)

My build number is: 18363.657; why is update not bypassing this and why can't I bypass it since it is optional?

I have already tried option 3. What is "C:RepairSource" referred to in the fix in reference to DISM in option 2?

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:RepairSourceWindows /LimitAccess

Did SFC which said there were corrupt files that it could not restore, but after searching the log file, I could not find any.

Did DISM and found no problems.

Ran troubleshooter and it found some security errors in update and repaired them.

Tried reinstalling update and it worked.
