perhaps this topic should be renamed to "When is the Spring 2020 Upgrade?"
"Spring Upgrade" could mean any spring for any year whether past, present or future
I think the Spring Upgrade suggests the one in the current year.
Looking forward to Spring update here, as i always am, but this time not gonna get in a hurry and upgrade too early haha like i did with 1903 and 1909 LOL. Just gonna be patient as i can be if i got any patience lol.
Thinking the update will go more smoothly now that all household systems running Windows Defender and Malwarebytes Free
Still might clean install as i done with other new updates over the years--cleans up junk from last 6 months lol
Yes, I want wait a bit before installing it also and not in an off hand way. Certainly not in the middle of any critical tasks. So just trying to see where it will fall in the bigger schedule.
The title of this thread is a bit of a misnomer, Microsoft haven't used 'seasonal' naming since 2018. This time last year they started to use the month and year of release as the name.
I wouldn't be surprised if the release schedule slipped a little this year as a response to the coronavirus disruptions. MS have already postponed the end of service for 1709. A similar argument could be made for delaying the launch of 2004.

Yeah wouldn't really surprise me if ends up delayed myself due to coronavirus, though having major update to do would give something to do lol, but just will have to wait and see at this point.
I suppose it could be "The Next Update".
(But isn't it more of an "Upgrade"?)
"The Update Formally Known As The Spring Update"?
"That Update - You Know - The Big Thingy"
