    Win10 Update Stuck

Hi Folks, this update has been attempted 4 times and has been as in my image for over 1 hour. Tried a restart after attempts 1-3 only to return to where it is now.

Try running the Windows Update troubleshooter in Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

    Then you can try
Reset Windows Update in Windows 10
if necessary, and there's the option to download it manually from the link in the relevant thread per update per build in the tenforums News section.

Thank you both for your quick replys. After posting this thread, I put the kettle on to make coffee after making room for it. Re accessed Win Updates and it was being installed, which was done successfully. I suppose things like this happen very often with a very very slow internet connection download speed.

Coffee often helps. Naturally any intermittency can interfere. If you frequently have problems with interrupted downloads, consider using e.g. FDM (Free Download Manager).

That sounds a likely explanation. There does seem to be something of a pause (with some network activity) between 'downloaded 100%' and 'installing...'. What speed do you have?

PS: coffee is my preferred solution to most problems...
