Windows Update KB4532693 and KB4537759 Fail on Windows 10 Pro

Windows Update KB4532693 and KB4537759 Fail with error code 0x800f0845 on Windows 10 Pro, I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps. On reboot the laptop immediately goes into automatic repair and rolls back the update. Everything works fine until Windows Update checks again, and the process repeats. I have paused updates for 7 days and would like to have some sort of answer before then.

Laptop is a Sager P150SM with an Intel i7-4810MQ processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M graphics.

    Use Windows Update Troubleshooter.

    • Right-click on Start button and pick Settings
    • Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot
    • Click on Windows Update and select Run the troubleshooter

Resetting the Windows Update components can usually solve these types of issues.

    Troubleshooter couldn't identify the problem.

I've also already tried resetting Windows Update components, the problem persists.

Hardware seems fine, no problems with the SSD and plenty of space free.

I have noting installed on this computer that's not also installed on my two desktops that successfully applied the updates other than the drivers specific to the laptop..

Read what Susan Bradly (Patch Lady) has to say: Susan Bradley @ AskWoody

You may need to uninstall the patch(es) you installed on that computer.

Ran SFC and updated my graphics driver, not sure which one fixed the problem but everything installed correctly after.
