The following shows the results of destroying the scheduled tasks.

"Last Run Result" is (0x80070005), which denotes "Access is denied", so automatic updates will not happen.

Has anyone used Winero Tweaker to block Windows 10 updates? I see there is an option for it but haven't tried it yet. I would like to disable Win Updates easily until the latest mess has blown over.
    Hello CChamp,

If you like, option 7 in the tutorial below is good to disable automatic updates and allow you to update when you want and have time.Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10

Thanks, everyone for the help, Hey Brink, is this WAU Manager totally safe to use? I don't want to mess anything up that MS hasn't already messed up. Thanks again

I installed WAU Manager months ago and it is fantastic. You can set it to only update software and skip all the driver aggravation created by unwanted troublesome driver updates. Also, check for updates available anytime and select only the updates you want.
