    Windows Update Fail

    Hello All

My Windows Specification: Windows 10 Pro Version 1909

Whenever I try to do Auto Update, I cannot do so. Please see the screenshot.

    Thank you.

Funny situation is that there is one user account which is me and it is Administrator.

Hello, I'm wondering who configured your policy options. Is this your own PC, one you use in a buisiness, or one you acquired from a business perhaps?

The first policy looks as if it would cause you problems. See
    Windows Update Fail-1.png
in your group policy editor. Set this to Not configured.

(The message in red simply means you have group policy options in force, which from MS's viewpoint only apply in a business environment- hence the 'organisation').

Personally I set updates to Notify using group policy with notifications enabled, and feature updates deferred for 365 days. That gives control.

Hopefully, the OP's Windows has not been attacked by malware like the one described here: Why did Windows Defenders fail to stop the threats from running?

Correct me if I am wrong, but this works if your windows update are not able to do any download...for this, I don't think it's the issue, it just the admin right blocking any updates.

Look at the group policy you have set. Read the text I quoted- you can see where your PC is trying to get updates from. (Post #2).

If you want to update other than from the intranet (your company's servers) you will have to change the group policy, I believe.
