why am I still in ver.1809

    Greetings
    Windows 10 Pro
I received windows updates but I got stuck in 1809 (b17763.1039).
Is there anything I have to do?
I don't want to download and install later version, and would rather wait for windows to make the version change.
    What am I missing?
Is it so important? the pc works fine and I have no complaints and don't miss anything.
    thank you

The fact that you are not being offered the upgrade through normal automatic channels would suggest that Microsoft thinks you have an issue, potential or Actual.

It would usually be the case that later upgrades, 1909 or the next due shortly (2004), would have that issue corrected.

Only Microsoft could say which issue is preventing your upgrade, and they do issue lists of potential issues found in each Upgrade release and when/if these have been cleared.

We do record the details of issues found here in this forum , If you check through the release notes in this section It could be a starting point for you to proceed from here.

Of course 1809 is still supported by Microsoft (until at least release of 2004 upgrade (there are changes with support times that may extend support of Fall releases to thirty months from eighteen, but it's not yet clear if this is retroactive)

Have you ensured that "Download updates over metered connections" is ON?

If it is OFF it may be stopping you getting the large Feature Updates.

support for Home & Pro editions of Win10 v1809 end on May 2020 as noted on the Windows Lifecycle Fact Sheet page (bookmark & remember that page, Barman58). only Enterprise & Education editions of 1809 get the 30 months support
