    Windows Update ‎KB4532938 (28/01/2020)


    Some of my settings have been altered by Windows since this latest update. Some fonts are now larger and the size of my Home Page is reduced to a default size in spite of my custom preference. At first I thought it might be a browser issue but it happens regardless which browser I use. Has anyone noticed these behaviours since this update? I have tried an extension to rectify the problem all to no avail. I am using Windows 10, Build 1909.

    I have noticed over the years of Win10 that updates will make Registry changes that frequently take out custom settings. Those I want to put back are saved in a folder against the time I need them. I use the older Windows 7/8 games and the Upgrades always take them out but not a problem re-installing them, the Upgrades so far have been just a couple times a year but the Build updates every month or so.

    This appears to have been a big update and in my case affected Firefox more than other browsers. I was previously able to custom size this site but now I have to zoom in every time to get the size I want permanently. Have to grin and bear It.

Hi folks I know Ms sometimes works on a different planet to the rest and their logic follows some totally unpredictable path but can anybody tell me why the update for 2020-07 is installing while the one for 2020-01 is stiill "pending install". ...
Failed update install of new 1909 KB4532938
in Windows Updates and Activation

After having to do a clean install a couple months back because the frustration of failed updates, I had everything working fine an updates were going good. Everything looks good in device manager. Updated and no issues. Last successfull update...
