    Feature Update Windows 10, version 1909 - ERROR ENCOUNTERED


    Hi all,

    I have been trying to update my Windows 10 OS (especially now due to that recent exploit in their code) but I've been encountering an error. The message is as follows:

    "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80096004)"

    I've searched for a solution and I have tried to run a scan from the Command Prompt using "sfc /scannow" and the scan happened to find corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Retried the update but to no avail. I've attached the scan log file download to this post but don't know what to do now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    OS Details:
    Windows 10, version 1903 (OS Build 18362.476)

    Hi, note that 1909 introduces a widely reported bug in file explorer search, so if you use that, you might wish to reconsider until MS fixes it.

    For interest:

    SFC failures: please run
    chkdsk c: /scan
    from an admin command or Powershell prompt

I have tried numerous times to upgrade my desktop computer using Windows Update, the Windows 10 Update Assistant, and even using a Windows 10 1803 ISO. The Windows Update screen just gives me the following error with option to try again. but...
I have run SFC /SCANNOW as Administrator and no problem was found. Then I ran the update troubleshooter and it came back with this error report. 187937 What should be my next step?
