WU Manager On A Mac ? Or, ?

My recent Post re how to disable W10 auto updates has gotten
fairly long, so i thought I'd start anew.

    WU Manager was suggested.

Great., and a sincere thank you.
Looks like what I want; simple, straightforward, and presumably works.
Haven't played with it yet, but will.

    But-

I also have a desktop Mac that I use.
    Has MS Office on it,
Keep getting messages that MS wants to do an (auto) updates on it.
When I last allowed it, was a disaster.

So, Will WU Manager work on a Mac ?

If not, any other suggestions ?
Again, really want something simple; no Registry modifications, etc.

    Great Forum and folks

    Thanks, as always, for help,
    Bob

    From OP:

    Hi,

    Thank you.

Appreciate your time in writing it out.

Frankly, at my age now, mid 80's, am very uncomfortable
playing with it (and most pc "things").

Not very sharp with any of this, anymore.

Is there any simple program like WIU Manager i can download, perhaps, for the Mac ?

    Thank you,

    Bob

Just a note, the Mac version of Microsoft Office is written for the Mac, is not the Windows version although both versions can share data files so the updates offered for the Mac version should work. My last was Version 2011 as an upgrade over the 2008 that came with the MacBook Pro of mid-2010 that finally died on me. If running something like Parallels or Boot Camp on the Mac to enable using Windows on it then disregard the foregoing,

    Configure this tool

    to check for updates manually.
