    Reply to thread, update

When I made my OP, I was confused about 1903 and 1909. A little while later I found out that 1903 was very buggy and that 1909 would not come out with the Oct 2019 patch Tues. From what I've heard so far, 1909 is getting good reviews in terms of stability in the pre-release ''rings''. So now that I'm clear I'll go ahead and install 1909 when it comes out. And I'll research the Apr 2020 update before it comes out to see how stable it is in the pre-release stages. Thx to all the respondants for all the great info.

I defer the feature updates. I've just updated 5 PCs to v1903 including two old 2006 PCs with no problems.

You should have no major issues, then. If you're up to 18362.449, then all the issued code for 19H2 so far is in your builds. May be more coming, and when they (MS) issue the Enablement CU (Optional, nothing to defer), you're good to go, or wait.

depends on what computers the 1903 & 1909 versions are installed on (and the hardware such as CPU, RAM and HDD or SSD) as there could be a few incompatible hardware or drivers with 1903/1909

most of the PCs I've installed either 1903 or 1909 on have few to no problems (or bugs) as some of the bugs are resolved in newer 1903/1909 updates
