What functions and features do you think are missing?

(BTW, you can click on a key in Activation Diagnostics to mask it. Not that your installed key needed masking - it's the generic key for the retail Pro, most everyone has that one)

Thanks Bree. Do you mean the report looks alright?
far too many to list eg Features wont stay defaulted. egTablet mode keeps reverting black no matter how often I reset it. Sae with backgruns, colours, fonts etc
Many functions I used to have and/or described in tutorials just arent there when I go to them despite updating to 1903 build and updating 61 drivers after the reinstal

Yes you are activated with the correct validation code and LegitCheckcontrol has verified your Digital licence online. Nothing to worry about.

As Superfly says, what you have posted says that you have Pro and that it is activated. Let's look at the problems one at a time and see if we can find a common cause. First though, a few questions.

Do you sign in with a local account or a Microsoft account?

Is the account you sign in with an administrator or a standard user?

Do you have any other accounts you can sign in with, or is this your only account on the PC?

You say you reinstalled W10 Pro. Where did you get the install media from?

You say you updated 61 drivers, what did you use to do that?

You say you reinstalled W10 Pro. Where did you get the install media from? Reinstalled after hard drive replacement by repair shop. ( I have read somewhere( here?) that MS May 2019 update blocks instals from USB and SD Cards. Could this be the problem?)

You say you updated 61 drivers, what did you use to do that? HP Support Assistant

As a test, you could create a new local account and make it an administrator. Sign in to that and see if all appears normal. Apart from anything else, it's always useful to have a second administrator account for emergencies, should you ever get locked out of your main one.

No. The issue wasn't with clean installs, only that an in-place upgrade while any usb drive was attached would say that the PC could not be upgraded (inconvenient if the install media was on usb). That issue was fixed some time ago and the current install media no longer has that bug. The workaround was to copy the install files from the install usb to the HDD, remove the usb and run them from the HDD.

All my machines that I upgraded with that older media have their full complement of settings and features. So even if that was the media used, it wouldn't be the cause of your problem.

That should be fine. Some of the 3rd-party 'driver update' sites have a less than satisfactory reputation, I'm glad to hear you didn't risk using one of those.
