    I'm on 1809. How to prevent/delay update to 1903?

I’m on Windows 1809 Home edition. How do I prevent/delay Windows from downloading and installing the upcoming Oct 2019, 2nd Tuesday updates? I heard the 1903 updates are pretty buggy. I went into all the Update Settings screens and all the Updates Advanced Options screens and didn’t see how to delay download/install of updates. Can this be done on 1809? Is this not available in 1809? Is there a video on how to do this? Registry setting? Let me know. Thx!
I did a google and youtube search on this issue and no luck.

You can download the tool wushowhide from microsoft website and use that to prevent update to 1903 on home edition.

1903 is fine its had 6 months of updates. It adds an option to pause updates for up to 35 days.Beyond that you need to use wushowhide.

As a W10 Home user I use Sledgehammer to control which updates are installed including upgrades.

    Giving up on WIN10 Home

More recently I also tried WAU Manager (the version built into UVK) but you can get the standalone version.

See Option Seven in the tutorial here:
