I just dual booted Windows 7 on my Windows 10 machine and in doing windows update some of the big roll up ones wouldn't install. Went to the MicroSoft catalog and tried to install from there and was told they were not for my machine. I hid them to get them out of the way but how do I permanently remove them and why did they show on my machine when they weren't suppose to?
Hi, do you mean you have configured your PC to dual boot Win 7 and Win 10, and you booted to Win 10, and got this message?
-that sounds like a Win 7 question the way it's worded- i.e. updates for Win 7.

What error message did you get exactly? Please post the text as characters, not just an image (saves having to do OCR).
What is your Win 10 build, and which update is involved?
I got it solved, KB4490628 wasn't installed and was not listed as an update. I installed from the catalog and everything is OK now.
