Feature update in October or November 19?
As we move towards almost 6 months since the last feature update to 1903 I am wondering if we are due another one soon in October or November? Or has MS finally seen sense to reduce their frequency? I’ve seen no mentions of a feature update incoming and normally this forum is awash with all talk (unless I have missed it). I thought I read somewhere the jump to 1907 for all users will just be a nice understated cumulative update (which suits me fine). Is that correct?

As you have Pro, you can easily skip a build by deferring feature updates anyway...

Yes, it's on its way, currently known as 19H2 and now in the Insider preview ring.
And yes, it is intended to be delivered as a Cumulative Update rather than a Feature Update. When? My guess would be late October or early November.
As John Cable
mentioned in July, we will be delivering 19H2 to customers using our servicing technology (just like the monthly update process) for customers running the May 2019 Update (19H1).
Cumulative Update KB4517245 Windows 10 v1909 build 18363.327 - Aug. 26
Oh, and it will be version 1909.

Ok thank you. My mistake on the version as I put 1907 instead of 1909. Am pleased it’ll be a CU. Feature updates resetting various preferences etc are always a pain. If it's a CU it should hopefully slip through relatively unnoticed by the masses.

If you want to install manually 1909 is available via UUPDUMP now -- simply down;load the script , unzip it, and run it --this will create an iso which you can either use to upgrade Windows or install from scratch. Look for feature update 1909 build 18363.356
Backup system first although these builds have a built in restore to previous windows version if you don't like it - doesn't work --they create a windows.old file which is used if you need to revert -- I usually delete this file (via Disk properties --you can't delete it via file explorer) and restore to previous version via a saved Macrium image.
