System Reserved defrag % climbing after three major 1903 updates

This old thread explains it pretty good, you can indeed ignore that if it is raising that is fine as that partition is only used for booting and will not have any impact on performance that would ever be noticeable. It is also normally only 100MB big so defraging that makes zero sense. Is yours bigger then 100MB in diskmgmt.msc?

Opened diskmgmt.msc, found that sys res drive 100mb and 64mb free. Weird, but found an extra(?) drive as well?

PC drives in diskmgmt.msc :

(C), (D), (E), (Disk 0 partition 3), and that System Reserved. I have 3 SATA HDD's, what is (Disk 0 partition 3)?

I can see that the Sys Res drive is now moot, seeing it is 65% free space (never seen that before), and I will send in a MS feedback query just at a very low priority, but what does that partition drive do and why is it not in disk defrag? It is 526mb, titled Recovery Partition, and empty. In the file system column, it is blank for a file system.

I'll be doing a search to see if I can find anything elsewhere, but this post is open so thought I would also ask here. Thanks for your help folks!! George

Found after a yahell search: ( https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...1-cfd58e7340d9 ), then ( https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...recovery-drive ). I forgot to create a recovery drive (I guess) which is why the partition is empty. Will be doing that high priority that's for sure!

Thanks to those who pointed me in the right direction! I'll close this after a couple of days in case I am going in the wrong direction here, and someone wants to correct my interpretation about this issue. George
