    Windows Update Blocker wub.exe

I just downloaded this file Wub.zip I scanned the zip file with norton antivirus. I then unzipped it and again scanned the files that were unzipped with norton antivirus. No threats found.
it supposedly can be check by the hash in some way ? I did have a hard time identifying where to download this.
    File: Wub.exe
    MD5: cbd186aae10955ac7d1aed5d5209cc06
    SHA1: 3480fc28d024564e4093c9fb5358d5280441dcde
Still trying to grasp this. hash stuff.
So now I will try to run this file. I have my machine HD cloned to a different bootable HD so I am not super concerned.
    I searched the forum rules
Any comments on this update blocker. ?
I am going to give this file a shot and see if I can block updates.

I prefer to use PowerRun myself, for disabling Windows updates.....easier than messing with INI files.
