    KB4512941 for Windows 10 version 1903

Optional update KB4512941 windows 10 1903 did cause Cortana CPU reading spike as described on ghacks.net.
I did a system restore and got rid of it.
I prefer waiting for Microsoft to rectify the issue, but others savvy users could follow the ghacks article fix.

Are you referring to the fix at post #17 here?
    Cumulative Update KB4512941 Windows 10 v1903 build 18362.329 - Aug. 30

You haven't posted a link to the ghacks article, unfortunately. Could you? Thanks.

mm, seems the 'fix' in that article is to remove the update, whereas the fix here:
    Cumulative Update KB4512941 Windows 10 v1903 build 18362.329 - Aug. 30

allows people to retain the update.

It seems that there is a fix there also to retain the update, something about cache folder etc. All above my paygrade.

The discussion is going on on the link you posted. so maybe an administrator could merge the two if ghacks article show some more light on this matter.
