Cumulative Update KB4512508 for Windows 10

As from yesterday morning I have the message in Windows Updates, Windows updates available with a yellow exclamation mark triangle showing. It states that Updates are ready to download and there is a Download button directly underneath. Cumulative Update KB4512508 for Windows 10 version 1903 shows as a Pending Download. Im on Windows 10 Home. I haven't manually checked for Updates and I'm not on a metered connection. I haven't selected Download as yet. What happens If I don't select Download? Will it just download automatically when its ready. Im in no hurry. Im just wondering why it has given me a Download button instead of installing automatically especially as it is a Cumulative Update? I thought because it was Patch Tuesday this update would have automatically downloaded and installed. Im confused

Microsoft is attempting to be a little less forceful in forcing updates on you. It will eventually install the update on it's own, but it's giving you a heads up that there is an update available before if pushes it to you.

Thanks for the feedback. I decided to wait and see if Microsoft installed the update automatically. Sure enough, about 72 hours later I got a Windows Update notification on my taskbar stating that a restart was required. So I restarted immediately and within 5-10 minutes Cumulative Update KB4512508 for Windows 10 had installed without any issues
