Reboot and select proper boot device after updating to Windows 1903.

Yesterday morning I restarted my computer to allow it to finish updating to 1903, but when I came back to check on it I found this message.
I've already checked the boot order and it is set up properly.
    I've tried these fixes: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...c-81e572d546df
Fix the MBR – Guide for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10

I managed to get through all the steps but bootrec /FixBoot still results in access denied. Is there anything else I can do to fix this or do I need to reinstall Windows?

Can you get a screenshot from disk manger or a parition bootable software. The question is do you have a mbr or gpt disk running uefi?

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you need, but here's a screenshot from Macrium Reflect running off of Win10PE.

As a side note, I tried running Macrium Reflect's startup repair, but that only seems to have no effect. Also, somewhere along my troubleshooting I managed to get startup repair to run on my HDD, where windows isn't even installed, so no idea what happened there. But when I boot up to my SSD I'm still stuck on that same screen.

I managed to get the SSD to boot somewhat but I get a new error now: "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error."

Unfortunately I could not fix the problem and resorted to a clean install. Thanks anyway.
