I upgraded my system from Home to Pro edition. I then had the option to delay feature updates and security updates. I did install 1903 in July and just noticed that my delay updates function is now missing. I only have the option to delay for 35 days. It's like Microsoft thinks I still have the Home version.
How do I fix this?

This is a known issue and is fixable.

The above regedit adjustment is beyond my comfort zone. I have made adjustments in the registry before, but only with very specific step by step procedures.
I called MS. The person I talked to was unaware of this known issue.
I just used gpedit.msc to make the adjustments. Hopefully there's a fix at some point.

Or you might try PM'g someone to see if they mght create a .reg file for you to import.
PM meaning private message, but what does the g in PM'g mean.

PM'g is shorthand for PMing, which is shorthand for private messaging.

xxxxxxx is just substitution for unknown characters.
xxxxing could be skating or running or walking.

AFAIK Microsoft have not yet officially acknowledged this bug, so I'm not surprised that their support is unaware of it. It is however an entirely reproducible effect and can easily be fixed by using Regedit to set 'DeferFeatureUpdatesPeriodInDays' or 'DeferQualityUpdatesPeriodInDays' back to zero, then clicking 'Check for updates'.

Open Regedit, in the address bar at the top type Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings and press the Enter key.
If the value for 'DeferFeatureUpdatesPeriodInDays' or 'DeferQualityUpdatesPeriodInDays' is anything other than 0, right-click on it and select Modify. Enter the value 0 then click OK.
You can then close Regedit. Go to Update & Security - Windows Update in Settings and click 'Check for updates'. The defer options will then reappear in Advanced settings.
The bug is only that these settings disappear in Settings when you set them to anything above 0 days. They still seem to be effective in deferring updates, even if you cannot see them.
