    Windows 10 1709 can't update, Error: 0x800f081f-dell-assist.jpg

BIOS is now updated, only integrated card reader is left to update.

Regarding cxbu0x64.sys, that is from card reader (OMNIKEY), that one I was just testing on my PC. I removed it with DriverStoreExplorer.

I turned off fast startup, I'll try now to update.

After I used Tweaking.com - Windows Repair, my RSAT (Administrative Tools) stopped working, can;t reinstall it. It says that I have it installed but when I try to remove it (only with CMD), says i don't have it installed.

I have one old Acronis image of this system. As I sad, this broken windows update is 1.5 years old. At that time, that wasn't bothered me. Now I must update it, security risks...

Need to try all the options, I can not afford to lose all the setting I have in the system, UNC paths and logins, RDP, programs, etc. + I'm learning more and more by trying to fix this.

Right now I started update from ISO, will see if it work's now (updated BIOS and turned off fast startup).

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer. Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:

started 1.5 year ago, when my system refused tu update
Regarding updates, I can't install any of that, tried all methods
If even routine updates cannot install then it is probably worthwhile checking the licensing method used.

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
slmgr /dlv (post an image of the pop up results into the thread)
slmgr.vbs /ato (post an image of the pop up results into the thread)

    For Ccleaner uncheck:
    a) memory dumps
    b) windows log files
    c) windows error reporting

For startup and recovery system failure:
    a) uncheck automatically restart
    b) reboot to maintain settings

Read these links on Windows driver verifier: (do not use the tool until it is communicated in the thread)

    There are many chkdsk switches.
Make sure that /r /v switches are ran on all drives as per the earlier post.
