    Pause Updates Not Pausing

My Windows 10 1903 updated itself on June 29 th. At that point I chose to pause updates until sometime in August. Today, July 10, it tried to update itself again completely ignoring my pause request.

Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?

    Thank you.

But I changed that option to 45 days but it apparently had no affect.

If it was 45 days you must have been deferring (not pausing) semi-annual feature updates, as deferring monthly quality updates is for a maximum of 30 days:

    Just to clarify things.

Am running W10 Home build 1903 and used Settings/Windows Update/Advanced Options to get to this point

As you can see, at least I hope the image will show it, I chose under Pause Update to Wednesday August 14, 2019. That, according to my understanding, should pause them until then. I had done the same thing a few days ago. Of course the date was a few days short of 8/14. Still, today I got a notification of the update to be installed.

    I must be missing something.

OK, that does look like a pause of 35 days (max); not sure why you still got an update.

Have you any suggestions how to proceed?

    Thank you.
