As the title How to disable windows 10 update?
I need to kill the automatic update so it will not run unless I reactivate it.
like in windows 7 from services.msc

hit the windows key and r together and type services.msc in the run box, find windows update and right click, stop the process and disable it, restart and that should be it.

    disable GWX.exe in task manager
rename the GWX folder in System32 and Syswow64

right click the update in windows update - select hide
