    Countdown to greatness help?

So my computer gets stuck if i restart (not turn off and on, restart option) or update it. i tried to fix this forever ago and couldnt, im getting a new pc (needed an upgrade anyway) but i dont currently have the money, so while i wait to be able to get a new pc i have to deal with these constant update notifications (sometimes appearing while im playing a game, resulting in me accidentally restarting my computer and getting it stuck restarting)

Last thing i tried was use run to open services, go to windows update, and change it from "running" to "stopped" and from "manual" to "I dont remember what the option was but it stopped the updates"
This worked for a good while but now the options to change it from running and change it from manual are grayed out and i cant click any of it. any help? is this a known issue?
    It probably is.

Just curious, have you tried a clean install of Windows?

You don't need a Windows disc. You can make a USB flash drive (or burn to a DVD):

A clean install would likely solve all your issues.

See this is an issue, it gets stuck whenever restarting, i looked up how to reinstall windows 10 and part of the process invovles restarting the computer, it would just get stuck and id have to manually turn it off and on again, and in my experience when it says to restart, manually turning it on and off doesnt work.

When the computer is off, when you turn it back on you press a key immediately at the very first logo appearance to select to boot from the USB flash drive. It varies from motherboard to motherboard but is usually F12, F2, F8 or Delete.
