What if 1803 reaches end of support?

I know I won't receive security update. But will windows force me to pay money to use 1803? Or will my PC act like ticking bomb and won't start up?
Windows 10 is full of unexpected so I want to know this.

That is always a possibility, but not because of 1803 end of life.

Until it reaches end of life you should have this new feature, if your 1803 is up to date:
Microsoft will also extend this 'Download and install now' control to Windows 10 versions 1803 and 1809 by late May, which is when it plans to release Windows 10 1903 to the general public.

When end of life is reached, and if updates are enabled and working, you could expect to have a feature update applied unless MS's database blocks it for reasons of possible incompatibility.

If you have good cause to need to stay with 1803, you should:
    - block Windows updates near 1803 end of life
    - make sure you use disk imaging routinely (strongly advocated generally here) e.g. Macrium reflect (free)
    - have an 1803 iso to hand should you need to do an in-place upgrade repair or clean install. (freel downloadable).

    Thank you for your reply.

You need something more radical. MS bypasses simple trivial methods.

As for updates being 'forced' - well, that's what you paid for and agreed to in getting Home rather than Pro.
