Someone (who?) edited it out before I read your suggestion.
I asked the mods to edit it out to be safe - don't worry about it.

I have clicked on "Settings"-->"Storage". What should I do next?
To change the disk right click on the .vdi disk (which for you is the Windows 10 Version 1809.vdi under the SATA Controller and click on Remove Attachment .

Then click on the square icon to the right of the SATA Controller (it is supposed to look like a HDD) and click Choose Existing Disk

Then pick the other one. If you don't see it then click on Add and browse for it.

Done as you showed above, and "32-bit" has been activated. However, both Machine uuid and HardDisk uuid remain unchanged.

there doesn't seem any point on running 32 bit windows any more.
The point is that 32-bit Windows uses less RAM.

    Hi there

RAM is so cheap these days it's barely a consideration -- would you for example still use horses for long distance transportation / hauling of goods when trucks / trains etc can do it quicker, and cheaper !!!!

Most new applications are designed in any case for 64 bit working -- even mobile phone processors usually have 64 bit CPU's in them these days.

32 bit OS'es are fine though for running legacy hardware / software on a VM -- then in this case the RAM is handled dynamically by the VM software itself rather than the Guest OS.

    Cheers

A few days ago, I clean-installed Windows 10 as the host OS, which was automatically activated although the same product key had been used in VirtualBox previously.

This is technically piracy. I suggest you remove posts as agains forum rules and mods could take a dim view.

This is not piracy because VirtualBox was already removed.
I am now using only one Windows 10 activated by one product key.
