    Problem with may update, BSOD


    HI

    I try to update from 1809 to 1903 by https://support.microsoft.com/it-it/...date-assistant
    the program download the update but when arrive around 85% cause a BSOD
    this BSOD don't create any minidump
    in the BSOD one time there is write kernel mode heap corruption and a second time system service exception.

    i don't understand where is the problem!
    i have installed kaspersky free,mbam and comodo free firewall (also deamon tools)

    You should start by uninstalling security software, and should not run two at the same time anyway.

    Before attempting the upgrade, make sure you have created a current disk image as is so often recommended here. E.g. Macrium reflect (free). Thus you could recover even if your PC becomes unbootable.

    For multiple upgrade attempts, download the iso or create a Win 10 install medium to save repeat downloads.

    When you have done the above, should it still fail, various logs (Google search) are created which you could try inspecting for clues although this is not easy.

    thanks, now i think i wait the update from windows update, if i have the same problem i try this option because at moment my Pc work well

    upgrade via iso mounted on daemns tools, all ok at moment!
