Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.

    Hi, this tool might help:
Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk

Otherwise you could resort to doing an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data.
Tutorial available. As to why on your particular system you find corruption occurring:- you could start by doing a full disk check using a tool such as
Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) (SSDs and HDDs)
HD Tune (Health and Error scan tabs)
If that's ok, then from an admin command or Powershell prompt run
    chkdsk c: /scan

Hi, not unless there is a problem with your current disk, hence the recommendation to check it as a very basic step.

I've included both checking the hardware, and the file system (different things).

    Sorry, what did?

First try the program to check your physical disk- I listed 2.
Is a HDD or SSD or something else?
