Patch Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday CU & FU

On 05/15/19 at 6:24P EST, WU did an auto update check and pulled down two updates: KB4346084 (2019-02) & KB4499167 (2019-05). I saw the Notification Center lit at 6:30P and went to the WU page to see a restart pending for both updates. I clicked RESTART and the KB4499167 failed to install. WU page showed RETRY, which I selected. At 6:34P, The WU page showed that KB4499167 had failed again and offered another RETRY. I clicked it and WU began the download of FU 1809 (2019-05). Three hours later the FU was done. Over night WU auto updated with three more security updates, two for Adobe. I guess the RETRY button executes the same code as CHECK FOR UPDATES.

Not in my experience. 'Check for updates' will find the optional C or D release CUs, whereas 'Retry' doesn't.

I suspect that, by coincidence, the automatic windows update process decided it was your turn for 1809 Features Update.

Hmmm. I received FU 1803 on 05/15/18. I wonder if I’ll have to wait another year for WU to auto update to FU 1903? Just kidding. It will get to this system when it gets it.
