    Greetings,

    I've already tried asking this in Microsoft Answers.

    Windows Update ran (without my permission) and now another tile is missing in Start. How can I find out which app was removed?

    Create a restore point.
    Now go back to a restore point from before the update, and see what app was there.
    Then come back via your newest restore point.
