The long generic testing time will depend on the size of the drive and whether there are problems found during the testing.

Common drives typically take < 4hrs.

For windows driver you have flexibility in choosing the tests. Many times the tool is started with the 19 displayed in the Microsoft link. Each computer has a different environment and uncommonly there can be significant impacts on performance or boot. So the tool is started with 3 and increased by 4 - 5 / hour. If there are problems you can remove some tests and add others. Ideally all non-Microsoft will be exposed to all of the 19 tests in the Microsoft link.

All of tests will not be performed.
There are 19 simultaneous tests in the Microsoft link.
Currently you have used 3 of the 19.
Any of the remaining 16 can be added to the prior 3 tests.

If the 7 or 8 tests work without performance problems then add an additional 4 - 5 tests.

If you encounter significant performance problems or extremely slow boot then remove some of the recently added tests and add other tests.

Addendum: After completing the Sea Tools testing and Windows driver verifier testing 48 + 36 hrs

    1) upgrade the BIOS to the most recent version.

Confirm the website for the computer: System Model Nitro AN515-52

Buying this laptop in March 2019 and running so many hard drive tests in the last couple of days, I am pretty convinced that this issue is not from any hard drive trouble.

Initially I had NVIDIA driver version 425.31. Running the NVIDIA driver detection tool in internet explorer gave information about the latest driver update available (version 430.39 WHQL, release date April 23, 2019)

Botched updates of windows update in the list-nvidia-detection.png

I tried installing the latest NVIDIA drivers but ran into the following error.
Botched updates of windows update in the list-nvidia-trouble1.png

Then I removed the NVIDIA and intel drivers via display driver uninstaller, rebooted my system, then tried installing INTEL drivers again via intel driver support assistant. Then I rebooted and tried to install NVIDIA drivers but ran into the same error. I performed clean installation every time while installing the NVIDIA drivers.

Now the situation has become even worse. There is no NVIDIA driver installed on my system and I cannot install any NVIDIA drivers manually as well.

I successfully updated my BIOS to 1.25

Talking about INTEL drivers, the driver support assistant keeps showing always three updates which I download but it keeps showing them repeatedly no matter how many times I update my intel drivers via driver support assistant.

The Wireless AC9560 drivers are already installed and need no updating because the latest updated drivers via intel driver support assistant don't do a fresh installation and instead ask for change, repair or remove the existing drivers.

The bluetooth drivers install by showing tiny blinking blue circles arranged in a circular way.

Updating the intel graphics drivers via the device manager shows the following error.

Botched updates of windows update in the list-intel-device-manager.png

Now I have zero nvidia drivers installed as can be seen in the following screenshot.

Botched updates of windows update in the list-nvidia-zero-drivers.png

And no display drivers show up in my device manager.

How come the addendum steps were not followed?

The windows driver verifier testing should have been ran to test the current drivers.

What progress was made with the tool?

Drivers were supposed to have been replaced earlier in the thread.

Had you skipped post #2 step 12c?

    The addendum displayed posting images.

Drivers were not to be replaced again.

What progress was made with the Windows 10 iso?

I tried updating the drivers in the past (post #2, 12c) but I was always getting into Intel update loop i.e. the driver assistant kept suggesting me the same drivers to update even after I had installed them many times.

I used to check Nvidia updates in Firefox and chrome and the java popup kept opening in the past without notifying me any updates. So I skipped it at that time.

I successfully updated my BIOS to 1.25 as per the suggestion mentioned in your addendum. Moreover, the screenshots posted are in reference with your addendum steps only.

The windows 10 ISO file is downloaded and has been used to create Bootable usb drive. Windows driver verifier testing did not produce any BSOD.

For windows driver verifier how many simultaneous customized test were used?
What was the testing time period?

    Download and install Whocrashed: https://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed

Launch the application > in the left upper corner, above analyze, click on tools > click on crash dump test > type: ACCEPT > click crash
    After the crash
    a) run the BETA log collector > upload the results into this thread
    b) open file explorer > this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for C:\windows\memory.dmp > zip > post a share link into the thread
    c) restart windows driver verifier with the 19 simultaneous customized tests > run for 36 hours continuously

Four tests were chosen for windows verifier tool and the time period for which my laptop remained on was for 8-9 hours. The climate of my city is pretty hot and I am quite paranoid for keeping my laptop powered on for 24 -36 hours non-stop as I often travel with my machine.

Searching for failed nvidia drivers installation due to "configuration registry database is corrupt" is quite common but I couldn't find any suitable method to fix on various forums.

While trying to update acer system firmware, I also get the same corrupt registry message. See the screenshot below.

Botched updates of windows update in the list-acer-trouble.png

I am quite convinced that my laptop's registry has got corrupt due to frequent messages provided by device manager while trying to update drivers. Isn't there a way to fix my registry instead of keeping my laptop on for 36 hours?

The Windows update error messages images posted earlier in the thread were compared to entries in the event viewer.
Windows updates was attempting to install older drivers than currently installed.
The update failures were appropriate for the Intel and Nvidia GPU drivers.
Windows should not have attempted to install older drivers.
The scannow and restorehealth commands did not find problems with the operating system.
As you commented this appears to registry corruption and or problems with operating system files not checked with scannow.
The event logs displayed this entry starting on 5/4:
    Code:
The Windows Modules Installer service terminated with the following error:
The configuration registry database is corrupt.

These are some options with the pro and con:

    1) Attempt an in place upgrade repair with the identical iso:
This typically fixes operating system problems.
It typically does not fix registry problems.
    Drivers and applications remain.
If this works then it is still progress as the next step can fix registry problems.
If it fails it is likely the next step fails.

    2) Attempt an in place upgrade repair with a newer windows build (1903).
    This can fix registry problems.
It may not fix user name registry problems.

    3) Perform a reset save files.
This requires the reinstallation of drivers and applications

    4) Perform a custom install
This requires the reinstallation of drivers and applications

    5) Regback
This was the method to fix registry, operating system, and boot problems.
Microsoft had not maintained this fail safe method.
It last worked with windows 1607.
This may be able to be fixed if Microsoft gets more feedback via the feedback hub.

    6) Backup files then clean install

    7) System restore is not an option as the only restore point is 5/5.

The log collector collected 3 mini dump files.
    One was manual.
Two were caused by running windows driver verifier.

I posted this query on sysnative forums.

I shared my drivers file there. I found this drivers file in C:\Windows\System32\config

They sent me another drivers file which I replaced in my original location. Drivers good file is the one sent by the helper on the forums. The other file is the one sent by me.

    DRIVERS_good.zip

    drivers_ORIGINAL FILE.zip

After replacing the file, the updates installed fine, intel drivers and nvidia drivers.
