    Delete C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download content is safe?

    hi

The windows update report some suspend updates cause i set the notify for download and installation in the gpedit rules for increase the control of updating.

I prefer download the update from windows update catalog.i just installed "April 9, 2019—KB4493509 (OS Build 17763.437)" manualy.

After reboot the windows report again that the KB4493509 is suspended.

If i delete C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download content i fix the problem e i receive also the notify for the missing update but KB4493509 already manual installed?

    thanks

I can't read your unformatted paragraph, so just from the title:

    yes.

    See tutorial:
Reset Windows Update in Windows 10 | Tutorials

and you will see that's effectively part of the bat file.

Part of an approach for resetting Windows Update.

Thanks. You can try following the tutorial I quoted if you wish, then run a Windows update check again and see where you are.

I suppose you could even uninstall the update if Windows' database is confused about it.

I have updates set to Notify via group policy, and all seems ok.

If you prefer installing manually, you may find Windows Update Minitool helpful, which allows a manual scan, and optional selective update.

    Download Windows Update MiniTool 20.12.2016

Takes the pain out of searching for updates yourself.
