Why cannot prevent W10 from automatically installing updates?

Why does W10 keep automatically installing my Nvidia graphics drivers?

I have done all the 3 steps here:

to try and prevent windows from automatically installing device drivers, but every time I uninstall the Nvidia graphics drivers and the computer restarts, Windows will always automatically install a driver for it.

This is making me fume!

Could someone please tell me is there another way to actually stop Windows 10 Pro 1809 form automatically installing device drivers?

Note that some driver updates may be performed by the driver itself, independently of Windows.

Wow, that`s odd. The only time I know there`s a new nvidia driver out is when GeForce Experience shows me a exclamation point on its icon down on the taskbar. Windows never tries to install it on its own.

It seems nvidia puts out a new driver every other week, I mean I`m not complaining, if they work that`s great.

Disable the device instead of uninstalling it.

Ok I got it. I am not exactly sure what was the solution because I was so frustrated I ended up trying many different methods and instructions from around the web, including downloading registry hacks etc.

And finally, it stopped freak'n installing the GPU drivers automatically! Godammit microsoft....
